Bangalore is one of the places that will remain eternally close to my (hic) heart :-). I have spent the best time of my time in Bangalore (majority in Purple haze hic! hic!) Purple haze is ’the’ place to be in Bangalore.

Its the only pub I have seen who play videos instead of the regular audio found in the other pubs. The DJ there is a very good freind of mine and his choice of songs is simply out of the world. I had written a review on Rammstein wherein I had mentioned that I got addicted to rock after listening to this group. well I must thank Purple Haze for introducing me to this song. I was totally smitten by the rock songs and attitude.

The best time to go to purple haze would be to go after 19:00.Thats when they really start bringing out their song collection. Bangalore females beautiful, as they are, totally rule the senses of the males in the other pubs where you can still see eyes roving in the direction they move. In purple haze its a complete different world. People are so into rock that even if Aishwarya Rai were to walk by , nobody would notice!! Everyone are heavy to head banging and simply enjoying the music.

The beer is good and crisp unlike some pubs in MG road. Food is expensive especially the non-vegetarian varieties. Somehow for a food lover like me it holds no charm. I rarely order any snacks apart from wafers or french fries. I just go for the environment. Its infectious really and you soon get into the groove of rock and before you realise it you are busy head banging away to glory. No inhibitions whatsoever. Nobody thinks you are crazy because rock makes u that anyway. They are all crazy!!! :-) The best place to sing praise to Lord Bacchus would be here. That reminds of something I heardlong back

P.S by the way in the type of music I am surprised there is no Rock category thats y no comments
